Report: How much Brighton will likely charge Spurs for Tariq Lamptey

The Daily Mail have reported that Brighton will likely demand close to £50m for reported Tottenham target, Tariq Lamptey this summer.

Sky Sports claimed yesterday that Spurs were interested in signing the attacking right-back as they look to reinforce the position before the start of next season.

Serge Aurier has already revealed that he won’t be signing a new contract and is interested in returning to PSG this summer (L’Equipe).

While the 20-year-old still has another four years left on his contract, putting Brighton in a strong position of power, Lampety has been out since December of last year with a hamstring injury.

The club had to seek advice from a specialist last season and the wing-back managed just 11 appearances in the Premier League all year.

The Daily Mail claim that Brighton are currently talking to Arsenal about a £50m sale of Ben White and will likely not allow Lamptey to leave for much less.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Lamptey would be a great signing for Spurs but only if we are switching to a five at the back formation as I believe he isn’t physical enough to play in a back four.
