Galatasaray have announced that they now have an option to buy Tanguy Ndombele permanently for €15m (£12.8m) next summer.
Even though the European transfer window closed last Friday, Spurs have managed to offload both Ndombele and Davinson Sanchez to Galatasaray, with Turkish clubs being able to sign players until September 15.
While the Istanbul-based side have signed Sanchez permanently, the Frenchman has been signed on an initial loan deal, with the option to make it permanent next summer.
Tottenham could finally sell Tanguy Ndombele
Galatasaray have now confirmed that they can make the deal permanent for a fee of £12.8m, which can be paid in equal instalments spread over five seasons, starting from 2025.
The club also announced that they would be paying a salary of €3.1m (£2.6m) to Ndombele over the course of his loan spell.
That is a fraction of the £10.4m per season that the 26-year-old earns at Tottenham (Sportac). It is unclear if the midfielder has chosen to take a big wage cut or if the North London club are paying the remainder of his salary.

Ndombele might have agreed to take a wage cut but he certainly would not have accepted a 70 per cent reduction.
So, Tottenham are likely to continue to pay a significant chunk of the midfielder’s salary. The Lilywhites would be hoping that Galatasaray exercise the option to sign him permanently next summer and that the player agrees to move.
