Report: How much it would cost Spurs to buy out Pochettino’s contract

The Times have revealed exactly how much it would cost Tottenham to buy out Mauricio Pochettino’s current PSG contract amidst rumours of a North London return.

The Argentine has only been back at PSG, a club he represented during his playing days, for six months. In that time, he has won two French cups but finished second in the league and reached just the semi-final in the Champions League.

Pochettino only signed a contract with the Paris-based club until 2022, although there is an option to extend that for an extra year.

The Times now claim that it would cost £10m for Spurs to buy Pochettino out of his current PSG deal, which could be tempting for Daniel Levy.

The Sun reported earlier this week that the Spurs chairman regards the sacking of Pochettino as the biggest mistake in his career, while the Argentine himself is open to a Tottenham return as he is unhappy in France.
