Report: How much Spurs are asking for from Inter Milan for Eriksen January transfer

Tottenham Hotspur playmaker, Christian Eriksen, started the last two matches for the Lilywhites under Jose Mourinho against Norwich City and Southampton.

However, the Great Dane has just six months left on his current contract in North London, with his Spurs future very much up in the air.

There are no reports that the player might sign a new deal with Tottenham, leaving a free transfer or January sale as the two most logical options.

Eriksen can now start talking to non-English clubs about a potential free transfer in the summer, but he cannot talk to sides in England until the end of the season.

It has now been reported that Inter Milan are interested in taking Eriksen off Tottenham’s hands, with Spurs asking for €20m (£17m) for the player in January (Tuttosport).

However, it seems as if Inter Milan are not interested in shelling out such a fee when Eriksen’s contract is set to expire, but Spurs are prepared to sit at the table with the Italian club to work out a deal.
