Report: How much Spurs are willing to pay for Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus

CBS Sports have revealed that Tottenham Hotspur are willing to pay more than £40m to sign Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus.

Since Antonio Conte’s arrival at Spurs, Kulusevski has been heavily linked with a move to North London.

The winger has struggled to get minutes under Massimiliano Allegri this season and it was previously reported that Juve were open to cashing in on the 21-year-old.

The Serie A giants were thought to value the Swede at around €35m (£29.1m) amidst discussions with Spurs.

However, CalcioMercato reported this week that Juventus had changed their stance regarding the 21-year-old after the ACL injury sustained by Federico Chiesa.

It was explained that Allegri wanted to keep hold of the former Atalanta man until the end of the season as Chiesa was expected to be out for the remainder of the campaign.

If CBS’ latest update is to be believed, Spurs have not given up hope of snapping up Kulusevski this month.

The report claims that Conte remains keen on bringing the Swede to North London and that Spurs are ready to offer $55m (£40.1m) for the Juve man.

Spurs Web Opinion

With Tottenham allegedly willing to cash in on Bergwijn this month, it does seem likely that the club will bring in an attacker. However, I suspect Conte would prefer a versatile striker, who can also operate wide (like an Anthony Martial) rather than a player of Kulusevski’s profile.
