Tottenham target Antonio Rudiger is demanding a salary worth £200,000 per week to stay at Chelsea, according to The Athletic.
Rudiger, 28, is well into the final year of his current contract with the Blues leaving Thomas Tuchel at risk of losing one of his best and most trusted defenders.
The Germany international’s uncertain future led him to be the subject of speculation from a handful of European clubs, with a handful of Premier League sides waiting in the wings ahead of a potential coup.
He has been linked with a potential move across London to rivals Spurs while Dean Jones said on The Done Deal Show (starting at 36:02) that Spurs had submitted one of the biggest offers to Rudiger.
However, The Athletic report Rudiger now looks set to stay at Chelsea with fresh terms for an extension on the table.
The report claims the centre-back is likely going to demand a weekly salary worth between £180,000 and £200,000, which serves as a healthy boost to his current £100,000-a-week takings.

Rudiger would have been a good pick-up for Conte given they have worked together in the past and is more than capable of playing in a three-man defence. A move would have been tricky to complete, though, given the strenuous relationship between Chelsea and Spurs both on and off the football pitch.
