Report: How much Tottenham will earn from new training wear sponsorship

Tottenham Hotspur have agreed a new sponsorship deal with BetMGM to cover their training wear from next season onwards, and it’ll bring in £10m per year for the club.

The commercial juggernaut that is Tottenham Hotspur Football Club continues to grow, with even more money now set to come into the club thanks to a new sponsorship deal.

With the club’s contract with Getir coming to an end when the current season concludes, Spurs have been looking for a new brand to sponsor their training wear.

The Turkish brand has collaborated with Tottenham since 2021, with the name of the delivery service taking pride of place on all the team’s training gear and warm-up clothing.

Alasdair Gold revealed earlier this week that BetMGM were in line to take over for next season.

Spurs to cash in on new sponsorship deal

Now, we have confirmation that the American betting site will be the new sponsor for the training wear for Ange Postecoglou‘s side from next season, and it’ll make the club a pretty penny, too.

The update comes from Lukasz Baczek of Sport Business, who tweeted: “BetMGM is set to take over the ‘Official Training Wear Partner’ rights at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur from next season, Sport Business can exclusively reveal. It can be assumed that the new deal with BetMGM will be worth around £10m. BetMGM will replace Turkish brand Getir, currently paying £8m a year.”

Spurs Web Opinion

That is crazy money to just sponsor a team’s training kit, but if they’re willing to pay then fair enough. It sounds like a very good deal for Spurs, now let’s just hope that extra money is used wisely, like investing in the squad, for example. Or maybe Daniel Levy and the board can now afford to reverse their plans to remove concessions on ticket prices, who knows?
