Tottenham Hotspur playmaker, Christian Eriksen, has been at the heart of one of the biggest transfer sagas so far this summer.
Eriksen poured fuel on the flames earlier this month when he admitted to the Danish press that he was looking for a step up from Spurs next season (Ekstra Bladet).
This came after the attacking midfielder had been linked with a move to Real Madrid in this transfer window (Express). The 27-year-old currently has just one year left on his current contract at Tottenham.
While the rumours have gone a bit cold of late, Danish media outlet, Fyens, has now claimed that Eriksen’s family is looking at houses in Madrid.
The report states that Eriksen was not allowed to travel to Madrid himself, and so has asked his family to look for a new home in Spain.
Not only this, but Eriksen and his girlfriend Sabrina are also said to be looking at selling their London home where they live with their son.
