The Athletic have revealed that Hugo Lloris is expected to be back in training at Hotspur Way this week after recovering from his injury.
The majority of the Tottenham players will be able to avoid an awkward meeting with Antonio Conte this week after the Italian took aim at them in his press conference on Saturday.
The Athletic have now reported that Lloris is expected to be back out on the field after recovering from his ligament damage.
The Tottenham captain sustained the injury in the Lilywhites’ win over Manchester City on February 5 and it was reported at the time that the Spurs captain was expected to be out of action for six to eight weeks (Sky Sports).
Fraser Forster has deputised well for the Frenchman in his absence but it now appears like the Tottenham number one is edging closer to a return.
Lloris was seen arriving at Hotspur Way for his rehabilitation work this morning.

Spurs Web Opinion
Even though Forster has grown in confidence with each game and has been solid over recent weeks, Lloris’ return is quite welcome.
The 36-year-old’s leadership would likely prove invaluable over the coming weeks as I feel there is a very good chance of Conte being sacked and Ryan Mason being put in charge on a temporary basis.
