Report: Inter Milan agree personal terms with centre-back linked with Spurs

According to CalcioMercato, Inter Milan have reached an agreement in principle over personal terms with rumoured Tottenham target Gleison Bremer.

Tuttosport reported earlier this month that Spurs were one of several clubs across Europe who were keen on landing Bremer after the centre-back decided he wants to leave Torino this summer.

The report also added that the Brazilian was taking English lessons amidst interest from the Premier League.

Fabrizio Romano subsequently revealed that Inter had identified the Torino star as their main target and were making progress in talks over a summer deal.

If CalcioMercato’s latest update is to be believed, Bremer has now agreed on his salary and length of contract with the Nerazzurri.

However, it is explained that Inter still need to agree on a transfer fee with Torino for the centre-back and Simone Inzaghi’s side first need to sell some of their players to raise the required funds for the move.

If Bremer was really at the top of Conte’s and Partici’s wishlist, one would expect Spurs to be able to quite easily out-bid Inter, given the Serie A club’s financial constraints.

The fact that Tottenham are seemingly not in a hurry to enter the race for the Brazilian, suggests that the North London club might be prioritising moves for other centre-backs.
