According to Football Transfers, Inter Milan are now closing in on Torino star Gleison Bremer, who is also said to be wanted by Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham’s top centre-back target this summer is reportedly Inter’s Alessandro Bastoni but Bremer is also thought to be one of the other names on the North London club’s wishlist (Football.London’s Alasdair Gold).
Bremer’s future could also seemingly have an impact on Spurs’ pursuit of Bastoni, with The Evening Standard reporting last week that Inter could sell the 23-year-old in order to fund a move for the Torino star.
If Football Transfers’ latest update is to be believed, Inter have now emerged as strong favourites to win the race for Bremer.
The report claims that while Spurs, Juventus and AC Milan are also keen on the Brazilian, it is the Nerazzurri who are expected to win the race for the centre-back.
It is alleged that joining Simone Inzaghi’s side have always been Bremer’s first choice this summer.

Bremer joining Inter is good news for Spurs as it potentially opens the door for Bastoni to be sold. In an ideal world, Tottenham would probably want both Bremer and Bastoni, with Rodon and Sanchez potentially leaving this summer. However, the Inter star will certainly be a bigger priority for Conte, given that there are not a lot of left-sided centre-backs with his profile.
