Report: Inter Milan eyeing up a move for Tottenham player

Inter Milan are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur and Ivorian right-back Serge Aurier.

Aurier has fallen out of favour this season at the North London club with the full-back only starting 15 times under Mauricio Pochettino and the Serie A side are believed to have been monitoring his situation this year as they search for a right-back.

Since Inter sold Joao Cancelo for €40million to Juventus last summer and bought in Croatian full-back Sime Vrsaljko from Atletico Madrid and Cedric from Southampton on loan-deals but with both set to leave at the end of the season, the Italian giants will look for more cover.

Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness state that the club’s director of football, Piero Ausilio, travelled to London to watch Spurs take on Manchester City on Tuesday, with rumours circulating that he was there to discuss a potential deal.

Aurier was brought to Tottenham from Paris Saint-Germain for £23million (Sky Sports) and the Lilywhites will want to recoup most of that fee if they agreed to allow him to leave.
