Report: Inter Milan now looking to sell rumoured Spurs target

According to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset (as relayed by InsideFutbol), Inter Milan are looking to sell rumoured Tottenham target Ivan Perisic.

Perisic was heavily linked with a move to Spurs last summer following his impressive showing on loan at Bayern Munich during the 2019-20 season.

However, the experienced wide man ended up staying up at Inter and struggled to establish himself in the starting eleven under Antonio Conte last season.

Tottenham also reportedly took information on the 32-year-old during the January transfer window but subsequently decided against making an offer.

Perisic, who has been at the Euros with Croatia, is expected to leave the San Siro this summer according to Sport Mediaset.

It is explained that the Nerrazuri are willing to listen to offers for the winger, who has just 12 months left to run on his contract.

The report adds that a return to Bayern is on the cards for Perisic this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

I was not surprised to see us being linked with a move for Perisic when Mourinho was at the club as the Croat is very much a Jose kind of player. However, I would be extremely surprised if we make a move for the Inter star this summer as he does not fit the profile we usually go for given his age and lack of re-sale value.
