Report: Inter Milan ready to make offer for Spurs-linked defender

Inter Milan are reportedly ready to table an offer to sign Torino defender Gleison Bremer, according to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedulla.

The report claims that Inter are prepared to submit a bid of €30m (£25m) for the Brazilian this summer.

Torino president Urbano Cairo earlier this week admitted that he was prepared to allow the 25-year-old to leave, however, warned any interested parties that he believes Bremer is worth more than £59.1million LA7.

Bremer is also said to have attracted interest from Tottenham, with Calciomercato reporting last month that the north Londoners were battling the Nerazzurri for his signature.

His performances last year saw him named as the Serie A defender of the year, following in the footsteps of Tottenham’s Cristian Romero who scooped the award the year before.

With Milan Skriniar rumoured to be on his way to PSG, it seems likely that Bremer will opt to stay in Italy and make the move to the San Siro where he would be a regular starter.

Having signed Clement Lenglet on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona, it would not be surprising to see Spurs bide their time and wait until next summer to land one of Alessandro Bastoni or Josko Gvardiol.
