Report: Inter Milan sporting director in London as he pursues deals for Chelsea and Spurs stars

Tottenham Hotspur have a number of players reaching the ends of their contracts in North London this season, potentially leaving on free transfers in the summer.

This is the case with experience first-team trio Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen, and Toby Alderweireld, who have all served the club at the highest level for years under Pochettino.

These three players will all be allowed to talk to clubs in January about possible pre-contracts, as long as they are non-English clubs.

However, Spurs could also look to sell them in the winter window, their last opportunity to make some money on the stars before they leave for free.

The Daily Mail have now reported that Inter Milan sporting director, Piero Ausilio travelled to London this week to target Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.

However, the report adds that the Inter man will also take a look across at North London towards Vertonghen and Eriksen, assumably on free deals.
