Report: Interest in this La Liga striker described as ‘concretely Tottenham’

Reports from today suggest that Alvaro Morata’s move from Chelsea to Atletico Madrid is close to being done, which will perhaps decide the fate of another striker already at the club.

Nikola Kalinic has already been limited to just the five La Liga starts so far this season, with six further appearances from the bench.

The arrival of Morata will surely only decrease Kalinic’s playing time even further, making a move away increasingly likely.

Marca claim that the Croatian, scorer of two goals this season, has had offers from four of the five biggest leagues in Europe (as reported by Sport Witness).

This is apparently interest from Monaco in France, Valencia in Spain, clubs in Italy, and from the Premier League, the interest is said to be ‘concretely Tottenham’ as coined by Marca.

Spurs are said to be in the market for a new striker on a short term deal after the injury to Harry Kane, and a loan move for the 31-year-old could prove to be possible.
