Report: Jose Mourinho willing to sell these three players to fund January purchases

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, is said to be willing to trim down his current Spurs squad in order to make room for new players in January.

Mourinho reportedly likes to work with a squad of just 21 senior players, with Spurs currently boasting 25, so there is definitely room for selling.

Jose inherited this Tottenham squad from Mauricio Pochettino and will likely want to put his own mark on it by selling players he does not like and bringing in new stars he does.

The Telegraph have now reported that Mourinho is willing to let Victor Wanyama, Danny Rose, and Christian Eriksen up for sale in January.

Eriksen, in particular, may have to be sold in January to avoid losing the player on a free transfer in the summer as his contract draws to a close.

Wanyama has not started a Premier League match since April 2019, while Danny Rose only has 18 months left on his Tottenham contract.
