Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga has snubbed a potential move to Bournemouth, according to Italian journalist Daniele Longo on Twitter.
Longo claimed that Tanganga’s agent has held talks this week with AC Milan over a potential loan move with the option to make the deal permanent.
The 23-year-old admitted in an interview with Football.London earlier this week that Antonio Conte considers his best position to be on either side of the middle central defender in his back three, while also distancing himself from speculation linking him with a move away from the club.
Tanganga played the first half of Tottenham’s pre-season opener against Team K-League yesterday afternoon, which ended in a 6-3 victory to the north Londoners.
The academy product saw his progress cut short last season when he was forced to undergo a knee operation in March (Spurs official).

Tanganga is likely to struggle for regular first-team football again next season with plenty of competition for places at the heart of Antonio Conte’s defence, and he is not a traditional right wing-back.
A move to AC Milan could give him the opportunity to make the step up and continue his footballing education in another country, which has certainly benefitted Fikayo Tomori.
