The Telegraph’s Matt Law has revealed that only Antonio Conte’s brother, Gianluca, who was working as an snalyst at Tottenham, followed the Italian out of the door.
Tottenham announced on Sunday that the club and Conte had mutually agreed to part ways, which was perhaps the worst kept secret in the world following the Italian’s tirade against his players after the Southampton game.
However, what did come as a surprise was the Spurs’ confirmation that Cristian Stellini would take charge as interim head coach until the end of the season, with Ryan Mason as his assistant.
The Telegraph revealed earlier today that Conte gave his blessing for Stellini to remain at Hotspur Way until the end of the season and help steer the club to a top-four finish.
Law has now taken to social media to state that every single member of Tottenham’s first-team staff, apart from Gianluca, have remained at Hotspur Way despite the 53-year-old’s departure.
Only one member of staff is leaving Tottenham with Antonio Conte….Gianluca Conte, his brother and analyst. Rest of staff remains exactly the same #thfc

If Law’s update is to be believed, goalkeeping coach Marco Savorani, set-piece specialist Gianni Vio and fitness coaches Stefano Bruno and Costantino Coratti, are still at N17.

This suggests to me that Conte and the club parted terms in amicable terms, with both parties accepting that it was necessary to go their separate ways.
The Italian might have simply decided that he needs a break, following the difficult few months he has had on a personal level.
