Report: Juventus are keen on ‘exploiting possibility’ to sign Spurs player

Tuttosport report that Juventus are keen on taking advantage of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg’s contract situation and bringing him to Turin this summer.

It is now quite an open secret that Hojbjerg’s four-year spell at Tottenham will come to an end this summer, with the midfielder about the enter the final year of his contract in June.

On Monday, Football Insider suggested that the former Saints star wants to leave the Lilywhites in search of regular game time when the transfer window reopens.

The report alleged that Spurs are ready to cash in on the 28-year-old but are expected to demand a fee of around £20m-£25m for the player.

TuttoSport have now also talked up the chances of Hojbjerg exiting Spurs and suggested that the Lilywhites would accept a ‘reasonable fee’ for the midfielder.

Given the Denmark international’s contract situation, the report states that there are ‘possibilities to be exploited’ for the Bianconeri.

The publication adds that Hojbjerg ‘certainly wouldn’t have any problems packing his bags’ if Massimiliano Allegri’s men came knocking on the door this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

While it is clear that Hojbjerg has been on Juve’s wishlist right from last summer, the Italian giants will likely face plenty of competition for the Dane this summer. I would not be surprised if Atletico Madrid reignited their interest in the 28-year-old, who is the kind of player Diego Simeone loves.
