Report: Juventus enter race to sign attacker recently linked with Tottenham

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Juventus have now asked about the availability of rumoured Tottenham target Jadon Sancho.

Sancho’s days at Manchester United appear to be numbered, with the attacker being frozen out of the first-team picture after refusing to apologise to Erik Ten Hag following their public falling out (Goal.com).

A couple of weeks ago, we relayed an update by Fichajes.net, which claimed that the 23-year-old has ‘aroused great interest’ from Spurs ahead of January.

The publication asserted that Ange Postecoglou is a fan of the England international and saw him as the kind of addition that Spurs need to close the gap with the best sides in the Premier League.

It was alleged that the Red Devils would be willing to sell the former Borussia Dortmund man for €35m (£30.5m), which is a figure that Tottenham are ‘seriously considering’ paying.

Juventus enter the race for Jadon Sancho

Romano has now taken to social media to reveal that the Bianconeri have reached out to Man Utd to ask about Sancho’s availability in January.

The journalist confirms that the winger will leave Old Trafford when the transfer window reopens but explains that Juve would only be interested in signing the player on loan.

On the other hand, Man Utd are thought to prefer a permeating sale of Sancho, which is why they are waiting for other offers.

Spurs Web Opinion

There is no doubt that Sancho’s talent or about the fact that his attributes would make him a good fit for Postecoglou’s system. However, there is perhaps a question mark about the winger’s attitude and we know that Ange is very particular about the type of personalities that he wants to bring to the club.
