Report: Juventus eyeing two strikers also linked with Tottenham

According to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are eyeing Gabriel Jesus and Dusan Vlahovic, both of whom are rumoured to also be on Tottenham’s radar.

The report explains that Juventus are looking at potential replacements if they are to lose Cristiano Ronaldo this summer, with Jesus and Vlahovic among the names on the Serie A club’s wishlist.

It is stated that with Manchester City set to push ahead with a move for Harry Kane, Jesus wants a move away from the Etihad to get regular game time.

Previous reports in the British press have indicated that the Brazilian could be used by City as a makeweight in a deal for Kane.

Meanwhile, Vlahovic, who is coming off an impressive campaign for Fiorentina in which he netted 21 goals in 37 appearances, has also reportedly caught Tottenham’s eye (TEAMtalk).

Corriere Fiorentino claimed back in April (as relayed by Sport Witness) that the North London club had already contacted the 21-year-old’s agent over a potential move.

So, it looks like Spurs and Juve could potentially butt heads for one or both of the City and Fiorentina strikers this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

Our transfer plans regarding a new striker will depend on Kane’s future as I cannot see us going for someone like Jesus unless we lose the England captain.

The club might potentially be looking at Vlahovic as an option to play second fiddle for Kane for one season before stepping up to be the main striker if/when the 27-year-old leaves next summer.
