Report: Juventus eyeing up deal for Tottenham star

Juventus are ready to make a summer move for Tottenham striker Harry Kane, according to the latest reports coming out of Italy.

Kane’s future has been the subject of a lot of speculation over recent weeks with the striker said to be considering his future at Tottenham (The Telegraph).

Manchester United are expected to make an offer for the Spurs strike when the transfer market reopens in the summer (Evening Standard).

Tuttosport now reveals that Juventus are also ready to enter the race for the Spurs talisman as they believe they can take advantage if the Lilywhites fail to qualify for the Champions League next season.

The report adds that the Italian giants believe Kane will be able to forge a devastating partnership upfront with Cristiano Ronaldo.

While Kane is said to be at the top of Juve’s wish list, the report claims that they PSG forward Mauro Icardi, Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus, and Leipzig hotshot Timo Werner are other options the club are considering.

Spurs Web Opinion

Since Kane’s contract with us has a few more years to run, I just can’t see the club letting him leave for anything less than a world-record fee even if the striker himself asks to leave. With the FFP regulations now taking its toll on clubs’ ability to spend in the transfer window, I am not sure that the likes of Juve can afford Kane.
