Fabrizio Romano says that Atalanta star Teun Koopmeiners, who has been mooted as a target for Tottenham, has now emerged as Juventus’ top midfield target ahead of the summer transfer window.

Koopmeiners has emerged as one of the most consistent midfielders across Serie A over the last two years and the Dutchman played a key role in Atalanta’s Europa League success this season.
The Dutchman is now being widely tipped to make a move to a bigger club this summer and he himself admitted to De Telegraaf back in April that he had informed Atalanta of his desire to seek a new challenge.
Tottenham are one of the clubs thought to be plotting a move for the Netherlands international, with various outlets suggesting over the last couple of months that the Lilywhites have knocked on the door over a move for the player (Tuttosport).
Ange Postecoglou’s men are expected to face plenty of competition for the 26-year-old, who is also thought to be on the radars of both Juventus and Chelsea (Rudy Galetti).

Juventus keen on signing Teun Koopmeiners
Romano has now taken to social media to state that the Bianconeri’s interest in Koopmeiners is concrete.
He claims that the Serie A giants have identified the Atalanta star as their top midfield target this summer and are expected to soon make an approach for him.
Romano further quotes Atalanta’s president Antonio Percassi as saying about Koopmeiners’ future: “For sure several top clubs like Koopmeiners, we will consider his future soon.”
Spurs Web Opinion
Percassi’s admission of ‘several top clubs’ expressing an interest in Koopmeiners potentially suggests that Atalanta expects a bidding war to develop for the Dutchman.
However, based on the reports over the last couple of months, it would appear that Spurs are more interested in the 26-year-old’s midfield partner Ederson.
