Report: Juventus interested in snapping up Tottenham star in January

Football Insider have claimed that Juventus are interested in signing Tottenham midfielder Tanguy Ndombele in January.

Ndombele’s only start since Antonio Conte’s arrival at Tottenham came in the club’s 2-1 loss in the Europa Conference League to NS Mura last month.

Conte has admitted that the French international needs to work harder than most other players because of the talent he possesses.

It was recently reported that the Italian has asked the Spurs hierarchy to cash in on Ndombele in January but this claim has been dismissed by Football.London’s Alasdair Gold, who stated the Tottenham head coach is yet to evaluate the midfielder fully.

Football Insider have now suggested that Ndombele could indeed be on his way out of North London in January, with Juve mooted as a potential destination.

The report claims Spurs are aware of the interest that the Old Lady hold in the midfielder and while Tottenham could sell the 24-year-old on a permanent deal, a loan deal or a loan-to-buy, are more realistic options.

Finally, it is asserted that the former Lyon man ‘is likely to be attracted’ by the possibility of a move to the Allianz Stadium.

Spurs Web Opinion

I believe it is likely that at least one out of Ndombele, Dele or Lo Celso will be sold by Spurs in January. I do not see how any of the three force their ways into Conte’s starting eleven before the transfer window reopens if the Italian continues to persist with a 3-4-3.
