Report: Juventus looking at potential move for Spurs 29-year-old valued at £17.1m

According to CalcioMercatoWeb.it, Juventus are eyeing a potential move for Lucas Moura this summer.

Moura was a regular in Antonio Conte’s starting eleven during the Italian’s first couple of months in charge but the Brazilian fell down the Spurs head coach’s pecking order following the arrival of Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus in January.

The Evening Standard reported last month that the former Paris Saint-Germain star is one of the players Spurs are willing to listen to offers for his summer but the report added that the wide-man is happy at the North London club.

Moura admitted to Brazilian outlet Esporte na Band (08/06/22 – via Sport Witness) last week that he had spoken to the club’s hierarchy about his future and he is ‘very likely’ to stay at Spurs next season.

However, CalcioMercatoWeb have now claimed that Juve are looking to strengthen their wide areas this summer and have set their sights on the Tottenham man.

The report states that the Old Lady have a very good relationship with Spurs following Kulusevski and Rodrigo Bentancur’s moves from Turin to London in January, and the Serie A giants hope to take advantage of that relationship to snap up Moura.

It is alleged that Tottenham would want a fee of around €20m (£17.1m) to sell the winger this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion

I believe that Conte will be happy to keep Moura around as a squad player, especially given that five substitutions will be allowed next season. However, having said that, the Brazilian is certainly not indispensable and Spurs will sell him at the right price this summer.
