Report: Juventus looking to swoop for not one but two Tottenham stars

Tottenham Hotspur may have retained their star contingent for another few months, but the January transfer window will roll around alarmingly quickly for the Lilywhites.

Spurs have a big problem this season in that three of their regular starting XI are out of contract in the summer of 2020.

As a result, they will be open to sign pre-contract agreements with foreign clubs in January that will see them leave on frees at the end of the season.

Not only will Spurs lose Christian Eriksen, Toby Alderweireld, and Jan Vertonghen if this happens, but they will also not be compensated for the exits.

The Daily Mail now report that Juventus are looking to swoop in for not one but two of these Spurs stars, namely Alderweireld and Eriksen.

The Italian giants are now famed for going in for big-name free agents, with Rabiot, Can, and Ramsey all signing in recent years.

Spurs will have to get some new contracts sorted sooner rather than later if they want to avoid this disaster.
