Report: Juventus may have chosen McKennie replacement amid Spurs links

Calciomercato have reported that Juventus could move for Axel Witsel from Borussia Dortmund if Spurs-linked Weston McKennie leaves this summer.

The Belgian central midfielder has reportedly come close to joining The Old Lady in the past and is held in high regard by those at the club.

Allegri allegedly is not counting on McKennie for the upcoming season as the central midfielder continues to be linked with a move away.

Tuttosport have reported that Fabio Paratici from Tottenham has already proposed a swap deal involving Moussa Sissoko, which came after Juventus revealed they were not interested in Tanguy Ndombele.

However, Fabrizio Romano revealed recently that Spurs and Juventus are not in talks over a possible Sissoko and McKennie swap deal at the moment. He also added that the Italian club will only sell their man for important bids over the €25m-€30m mark.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Juventus are really looking at replacements, it tends to hint that a transfer is at least possible. It all comes down to whether Spurs can shift the likes of Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier before deadline day, in my opinion.
