Report: Juventus name asking price for Samuel Iling-Junior amid Spurs interest

Calciomercato have claimed that Juventus would be willing to sell Tottenham target Samuel Iling-Junior for €20m (£17.4m) in January.

Over the last week, plenty of outlets have talked up the chance of Tottenham making a move for Iling-Junior, who is thought to be keen on leaving Juve in search of regular game time (TuttoMercatoWeb).

Multiple outlets have said over the last few days that Juve would be open to cashing in on the England Under-21 international in January since his contract only runs until 2025 (Football Insider).

How much would Samuel Iling-Junior cost Spurs?

CalcioMercato have now become the latest publication to report on Tottenham’s pursuit of Illing-Junior, and they too back up the claim that the Serie A giants have put him in the shop window.

They say that Spurs are ‘above all’ in the race for the 20-year-old, having sent scouts to Italy to watch him ‘several times’ this season.

The report adds that the Bianconeri would be willing to part ways with the youngster if they receive an offer of €20m (£17.4m).

It is explained that while Tottenham continue to ‘observe’ the situation, they have not made a concrete approach for the player so far.

Spurs Web Opinion

The fee will not be an issue for Tottenham while Iling-Junior’s age, versatility and homegrown status are also big ticks in his favour. The only factor that could scupper a move is if the 20-year-old prioritises regular game time and he feels he might not get that at Spurs.
