Report: Juventus offer player in a January swap deal for Christian Eriksen

Tottenham Hotspur look resigned to losing Christian Eriksen in 2020, with the Great Dane’s contract running down and no new deal in sight.

As it stands, Eriksen would leave on a free in the summer, but is allowed to start talking to non-English clubs in January to potentially sign a pre-contract agreement.

A player of Eriksen’s talent and age is sure to attract some attention, especially when you add the free price tag on top of that. However, some clubs may want to come in with a January bid to ensure they beat others to his signature.

Le10Sport have now reported that Juventus are interested in signing the Danish playmaker and are even willing to offer Spurs a player in return.

Adrien Rabiot, who Juventus signed on a free from PSG last summer, is said to be the man to act as a makeweight in the deal.
