According to Sport, Tottenham Hotspur target Memphis Depay is ready to leave Barcelona this summer.
Depay has had a decent campaign for Barca since his move from Lyon last summer, having scored 11 goals in 25 La Liga appearances for the Catalan giants (Transfermarkt).
However, the centre-forward has fallen down the pecking order since the arrival of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang at the Camp Nou in the January transfer window.
Mundo Deportivo reported back in March that Spurs were leading the race to snap up the 28-year-old ahead of the summer transfer window.
Sport have revealed that Barcelona are looking to make changes to their forward line, with the club keen on landing the prolific Robert Lewandowski from Bayern Munich.
It is said that Depay is likely to be the player to depart considering the Dutchman has just twelve months left to run on his existing contract.
The report suggests that the former Manchester United striker would not be opposed to a transfer in search of regular game time ahead of the World Cup in November.
Spurs Web Opinion
I would certainly take Depay at Spurs as he would be a suitable backup for Harry Kane, and would also be able to partner the England captain upfront if required.
However, the Dutch international would certainly not be a guaranteed starter at Spurs and as a result, he may not be overly enthusiastic about the idea of a move to North London.
