Report: La Liga giants snub the opportunity to sign Spurs player

Tottenham Hotspur left back Danny Rose is currently the longest-serving first-team player at the club having spent eleven seasons in North London.

The 29-year-old moved to Spurs from Leeds United back in 2007 and has experienced multiple highs and lows during his time at the club.

However, it looks like his time at the club is set to come to an end after twelve years after England international has been left out of Tottenham’s pre-season tour to the Far East to allow him to explore possible new opportunities. (Sky Sports).

Catalonian newspaper Sport now claim that Spurs offered Rose to Barcelona a few days ago.

The report suggests that the La Liga giants closely studied the possibility of signing the full-back but in the end decided against making a move for him.

It is claimed that the Spurs defender was keen on a transfer but they instead chose to prioritise other targets.

Rose is also said to be attracting interest from PSG, Schalke, Liverpool and Manchester United.

It looks like Pochettino and the club have made their minds up to move Rose on this summer. It is a shame as the full back was close to being back to his best towards the end of last season and we believe the club can still get two good years out of him.
