Report: Leicester striker could be perfect Kane replacement

Tottenham Hotspur must now navigate the next month or so without Harry Kane, as he recovers from an ankle injury sustained in the 1-0 loss to Man United (BBC).

Kane will likely be out until early March, meaning Tottenham will need to find someone to replace his immense goal scoring talents.

The usual go-to man Heung Min Son is unavailable after jetting off to join up with his native South Korea in the Asian Cup this week.

Lucas Moura is also out of contention as he continues to nurse an injury of his own.

HITC now claim that the solution to Spurs’ problems could come in the form of one of Harry Kane’s old England team mates.

Jamie Vardy is now 32, with three years left on his contract at Leicester City, but HITC believe he could be the perfect addition to Tottenham’s front line during these testing times.

With just Fernando Llorente left as the only fit senior striker, Spurs need someone, that’s for sure.
