Report: Levy goes into a ‘fit of rage’ after hearing this news

Tottenham Hotspur have had much to smile about this season, after enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League season, a run to the semi finals of the Carabao Cup, a come back to sneak into the Champions League knockouts, and an ongoing FA Cup run.

However, it has also been a season of frustration for many Tottenham fans, and those surrounding the club.

Spurs have made no signings all season, and their brand new stadium remains unfinished, despite an original opening date of September 15.

A report out of Spain today claims that Daniel Levy was left in a ‘fit of rage’ this year, after hearing some irritating transfer news.

Christian Eriksen is currently into the final 18 months of his contract in North London, and unless Spurs can sign him up to a new one, it is likely he will either leave for a fee this summer, or on a free in 2020.

AS claim that a source close to Levy told them he was left in a fit of rage at news Real Madrid may be circling, after the Spanish giants already swooped for Bale and Modric (reported by Mirror).
