Report: Levy may have hinted that ‘injection of cash’ could be on the way

EuroSport have revealed that Daniel Levy has told people he works closely with that he has big plans for this summer.

Tottenham are apparently close to appointing Antonio Conte as their next head coach but some reports have suggested that the Italian is not likely to give his decision until next week.

However, Eurosport have claimed that the former Inter boss is ‘on the verge of signing’ for Spurs while the North London club also have an agreement in place to land Fabio Paratici, who will be joining in a Director of Football style role.

Levy reportedly has no intention of selling Harry Kane this summer despite interest from the likes of Manchester City.

The Spurs chairman has reportedly told people close to him that Conte’s appointment is only the beginning ahead of what could be a big summer.

Some are said to believe that this suggests an injection of cash is on the way which could boost Tottenham’s position in the upcoming transfer market.

Eurosport speculate that Levy might have reached an agreement over the stadium’s naming rights.
