Report: Levy waiting on one key thing before he moves for Lo Celso or Fernandes

The Tottenham transfer sagas continue to rumble on, as the North London club now have just over two days to round off their business for the summer.

The window for Premier League incoming transfers slams shut on August 8, meaning Spurs have little time to bring in any new stars to add to their squad.

However, Premier League sales could go on for a while yet, as the likes of France, Germany, Spain, and Italy can continue buying players until September 2.

This means that Tottenham players, like Christian Eriksen for example, could leave the club well into the new Premier League season.

This also means that Spurs would have to invest in a replacement now, or simply not get one if the Great Dane leaves beyond the window shutting.

The Standard report that Spurs are determined to bring in Lo Celso or Fernandes to replace Eriksen before the deadline this summer.

However, Diario de Sevilla in Spain have reported that the ball is in Tottenham’s court regarding the Lo Celso deal and that Levy will likely only make their move if Eriksen is sold.

Spurs Web Opinion:

If Levy is waiting on an Eriksen sale to bring in a new player, I am afraid Spurs simply will not invest. I can’t see anyone paying that money Tottenham want when they can simply wait a year and get him on a free. Levy needs to be proactive and show some ambition by giving Poch the players he wants in Lo Celso and Sessegnon now, or risk losing the Argentine manager.
