Relevo journalist Matteo Moretto has revealed that Strasbourg are the latest club to enter the race for Tottenham centre-back Davinson Sanchez.

Multiple sources have revealed over the last couple of months that Sanchez’s six-year spell in N17 is expected to come to an end this summer (Football.London), which is not surprising, given that the centre-back just has a year left on his contract (Transfermarkt).

There appears to be no shortage of interest in the Colombian, with Flamengo (Globo), Galatasaray (Sporx), Villarreal (Relevo), Spartak Moscow (Sport Express) and PSV Eindhoven ( Voetbal International) all said to be keen on the centre-back.

In fact, a couple of days ago, Win Sports TV journalist Pipe Sierra even asserted that Tottenham had already turned down an offer of €9m (£7.7m) from Galatasaray and another bid worth €10m (£8.5m) from Spartak for the 27-year-old.

Strasbourg now enter the race for Davinson Sanchez

Moretto has now taken to social media to claim that Strasbourg have started talks with Tottenham over a potential deal for Sanchez.

However, the journalist made it clear that the French club are yet to agree a deal with Spurs and neither have they struck an agreement with the player on personal terms.

Given the amount of interest Sanchez is generating, Tottenham would look to get a bidding war going and get close to around £12m for the centre-back, which would be a decent return, given that he just has a year left on his contract.
