Report: Liverpool among four clubs linked with move for Spurs defender

According to a report by Spanish news outlet Fichajes, AC Milan, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus and Liverpool are all considering a move for Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez next month.

Sanchez is now seemingly fourth choice centre-back at Tottenham behind Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Joe Rodon, and with Jose Mourinho’s men looking solid at the back in their recent Premier League outings, the Colombian has his work cut out to force himself back into the side.

Liverpool have suffered a number of injury problems this season with Joe Gomez and Virgin van Dijk both sidelined.

The Sun revealed a few days ago that AC Milan are considering the move for the 24-year-old next month as they look to bolster their centre-back options to aid them in their bid to win the Serie A title this season.

CalcioMercato have suggested that the former Ajax man is open to leaving Spurs in January and the prospect of a move to Italy appeals to him.

Fichajes have now revealed that the Tottenham man is also on the radars of Liverpool, Juve and Dortmund and that it is only ‘a matter of time’ before he departs North London.

Sanchez was named in Jose Mourinho’s starting eleven for last night’s Europa League win against Royal Antwerp, where he partnered Japhet Tanganga at the heart of the defence.
