Report: Liverpool among the admirers of Spurs’ 22-goal forward

Manchester City and Liverpool are among a number of clubs who hold an interest in Tottenham Hotspur forward Heung-min Son, according to 90min.

The South Korean is expected to be rewarded with a new contract in North London shortly after the club repaid their £175 million Bank of England loan and have not announced any high-profile deals since they took out the arrangement (The Athletic).

90min claim that there is also interest in the 29-year-old from the continent with Bayern Munich and Real Madrid holding him in high regard.

Son is coming off the back of his best individual season from Tottenham in terms of numbers having scored 22 goals in all competitions and provided 17 assists (transfermarkt).

The vast majority of clubs will certainly admire Son, however, it does not exactly mean that they will be in a position to sign him given the mega-money that Spurs would expect in order to even be tempted to part company; especially with the speculation surrounding Harry Kane’s future.
