Report: Liverpool star is on Tottenham’s radar

Tottenham Hotspur are keeping tabs on Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana, who will be a free agent in the summer, according to reports.

The Daily Mail claims that Lallana will not be extending his stay at Anfield after his contract runs out in June and is keen to move in search of regular first-team football.

The 31-year-old has featured just thirteen times in the league for Jurgen Klopp’s side this season (transfermarkt) and it is suggested that this campaign is likely to be his final one with the Premier League leads.

The report suggests that Tottenham are interested in signing the former Southampton man and will make an offer to the midfielder’s representatives at the end of the season.

It is revealed that the Lilywhites view Lallana as the man to replace Christian Eriksen, who departed to Inter Milan last month.

The England international is also said to be attracting interest from the likes of Arsenal and Leicester.

Spurs Web Opinion

I have always rated Lallana highly and I believe he can certainly be a useful addition to the squad. However, we are fairly well stocked in the attacking midfield areas with the likes of Dele, Lo Celso, Fernandes, Bergwijn and Lamela. So I believe there are other areas of the squad that we need to prioritise in the summer.
