Report: Lo Celso’s Real Betis teammate wants Tottenham move

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked to a number of midfielders this summer, including Real Betis star Giovani Lo Celso.

The BBC report that Spurs bid £53m for the playmaker earlier in the transfer window, only to have the offer turned down as it was too far shy of the £88m buyout clause.

Lo Celso is currently competing in the Copa America with Argentina alongside Tottenham’s Juan Foyth, and a deal seems unlikely until the player returns.

However, one of Lo Celso’s Real Betis teammates is also said to be ‘counting on interest’ from Spurs this summer.

Victor Camarasa spent last season on loan at Cardiff City, scoring five and setting up four in 33 games for the relegated side.

Now that Cardiff are back in the Championship, the 25-year-old apparently will not be returning to Wales (Sport Witness), and is instead hoping for interest from the likes of Spurs, West Ham, and Leicester City (Estadio Deportivo).
