Report: Loan updates on Ndombele, Udogie, Dane Scarlett and more

In their weekly update on the Tottenham players who are out on loan, Football.London have revealed that Tanguy Ndombele started back-to-back Serie A matches for Napoli for the first time this season.

After struggling for game time at the start of the season, the midfielder has been getting regular minutes under his belt over recent weeks.

The 25-year-old played 71 minutes during Sunday’s 3-2 victory at home against Bologna, with WhoScored giving him a rating of 6.4 for his display.

Meanwhile, Destiny Udogie also got two games under his belt this week, playing 83 minutes in Udinese’s 0-0 draw at Lazio on Sunday and then coming on as a half-time substitute in the club’s 3-2 loss against Monza in the Italian Cup.

Dane Scarlett got 68 minutes in Portsmouth’s surprising 3-0 defeat to Charlton in League One on Monday. The striker has four goals and two assists for Pompey in all competitions so far this season (Transfermarkt).

Football.London report that Joe Rodon was suspended for Rennes’ 3-2 win over Lyon on Saturday after picking up a red card in their win over Nantes last week.

Harry Winks and Sergio Reguilon are yet to feature this season for their clubs, with the two players continuing to recover from their ankle and groin injuries respectively.

Meanwhile, Troy Parrott had surgery on his hamstring this week after going down injured in Preston’s win over Norwich last week, with the striker not expected to be in action until after the World Cup.

Spurs Web Opinion

It is slightly disappointing that Scarlett has not been able to build on the impressive start he made to his loan spell at Fratton Park, with goals now having dried up for the teenager over recent weeks.

However, that is likely due to Pompey’s struggles to create chances, with Danny Cowley’s men dropping to fifth in the League One table and currently being winless in four matches.
