Calciomercato have reported that Crystal Palace are ‘seriously’ thinking about pushing ahead with a move for rumoured Tottenham target Matias Soule in January.
Few young players have caught the eye as much as Soule has this season, with the Juventus youngster showing just why he is so highly thought of by many on loan at Frosinone.
Over the last week, various reports have indicated that Tottenham are keen on landing the 20-year-old in January and are facing competition from Newcastle United and Palace (JuveLive).
Crystal Palace could make the first move for Soule
According to CalcioMercato’s update, several clubs have requested information regarding the versatile attacker, with Palace ‘in particular’ said to be ‘the most interested’ team.
The report says that the Eagles are seriously thinking about making a move for the Argentine Under-20 international, with Juve said to be ready to sell the player to raise funds to pursue their January targets.
Meanwhile, another update by JuveLive.it has also talked up Palace’s interest in Soule, stating that Roy Hodgson’s men are keen on bringing the youngster to Selhurst Park.
However, the publication adds that it would take an offer of at least at least €25m (£21.6m) for the Bianconeri to let the winger leave.
Spurs Web Opinion
The speculation linking Soule and Iling-Junior with moves to Tottenham have died down a bit over the last couple of weeks. That might be because Spurs are now focused on deals to sign Todibo and Gallagher, who appear to be the North London club’s priority targets.
