Report: Madrid reject Spurs bid for Bale, asking price revealed

Gareth Bale has endured a difficult season at Real Madrid as he has come under a lot of criticism for his attitude by parts of the Spanish press.

The 29-year-old who has won every major trophy during his tenure with the Los Blancos has even been jeered off the pitch by his own fans this season.

It is thus suggested that this could be the Welshman’s last season at the Spanish capital.

The Welshman who is contracted to Madrid until 2022 has been liked with a return to Spurs as well as moves to Man Utd and Bayern Munich in the summer.

According to a report in Spanish outlet Don Balon, Madrid have already rejected three offers for the pacey winger from Tottenham, Inter Milan and PSG.

The report claims that all the offers received were under €75m, and that Spanish giants are holding out for €110m (£94.7m) for the 29-year-old.

It is also suggested that while Florentino Perez is in no hurry to sanction the sale of Bale, Zidane is open to letting him go as the Galacticos are keen on adding Eden Hazard to the squad in the summer.

The price Madrid are demanding for the former Spurs star would likely rule out any chance of him returning to North London.
