The Athletic have reported that Man City discussed five different players with Tottenham regarding a possible Harry Kane swap deal this summer.

It has previously been reported that Harry Kane wants to leave Spurs this summer and has communicated that to the club already.

It then emerged that Premier League champions, Man City, had bid £100m for Kane and were open to doing a player-plus-cash deal.

The Athletic now say that the Citizens were happy to part with any of five players as a part of this deal, naming Gabriel Jesus, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Aymeric Laporte and Riyad Mahrez.

Of course, Spurs would not be taking all five of these stars, but Man City reportedly gave them a chance to indicate interest in any of them.

Despite this, it is said that Tottenham are still not interested in parting with their star striker this summer.

Spurs Web Opinion:

As I have said many times, Kane will only leave this summer for around £150m in cash. No player swaps, no £100m fee, Daniel Levy simply will not entertain that. If Man City aren’t willing to pay the fee, they should move on.
