Report: Man City fans urge Pep Guardiola to field this front three against Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur may have started the season with a seemingly ‘easy’ match on paper at home to a newly-promoted side in Aston Villa, but that is all about to change.

The Lilywhite’s second match of the new campaign is just about the toughest one you can have, away to the reigning champions, Manchester City.

City started their title defence in style last weekend as they demolished West Ham 5-0 away from home and will be looking to continue their winning form.

However, Pep Guardiola did not choose what many would consider to be his first-choice front three, as he handed starts to Gabriel Jesus and Riyad Mahrez.

Both players ended up have fantastic games, but Man City fans still want to see changes for the Tottenham clash. Perhaps Pep was just resting his big guns.

The Manchester Evening News claims that 55% of the 1,654 people they asked wanted Pep to play a front three of Sterling, Bernardo Silva, and Aguero.
