Report: Man City to make one final push to land Harry Kane

Manchester City are ready to make one final effort in a bid to sign Harry Kane before the transfer window closes, according to the Daily Mail.

The report claims that the Premier League champions are undaunted by Tottenham’s stance of having snubbed all of their previous approaches.

City are hopeful that Kane’s desire to complete a switch to the Etihad will help to force through the transfer.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy remains determined to keep hold of the 28-year-old, who made his first appearance of the season when he came off the bench in Sunday’s 1-0 win against Wolves at Molineux.

City are said to be prepared to table an offer of more than £120million, having already smashed the British transfer record earlier this summer with the £100million aquisition of Jack Grealish.

With Kane still having three years left to run on his contract, all the power lies with Daniel Levy. If City really want Kane, they need to stump up the money which will turn the Tottenham chairman’s head, otherwise they are simply wasting their time.
