According to a report from The Express, Manchester United could make a move for Norwich City defender Max Aarons, who has also been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Aarons has been in fine form for Norwich this season, who look set to bounce straight back up into the Premier League after their relegation from the top flight last year.
The right-back was reportedly on Tottenham’s radar in the summer but the North London club decided to move for Matt Doherty from Wolves instead.
It was reported last week that Spurs have been scouting the Canaries star for a year and he is one of the options the club are considering as a possible replacement for Serge Aurier at the end of the season.
However, The Express now claim that Tottenham could have competition from Manchester United for Aarons, with the Red Devils also seeking to strengthen at right-back.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer wants to bring the 21-year-old to Old Trafford in order to provide competition for Aaron Wan-Bissaka next season.

We might have the upper hand over Man Utd in the race for Aarons as the Norwich star could potentially be convinced that he has a better chance of establishing himself as a started at Spurs. Wan-Bissaka has been in fine form this season and looks set to be United’s first-choice right-back for the best part of the next decade.
