Report: Man United in ‘talks’ to sign Tottenham midfielder

Stretty News, as relayed by The Express, have reported that Manchester United have opened talks with Tottenham Hotspur over the potential signing of Harry Winks.

While the Spurs academy graduate has impressed since breaking into the first-team under Mauricio Pochettino, he struggled for minutes, confidence and form this season.

The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer himself is keen on the Spurs midfielder and talks have already been opened between the two clubs.

The Red Devils manager is said to be interested in improving his current midfield options, with Scott McTominay and Fred being the main duo this season.

Tottenham are reportedly willing to listen to offers even without their new head coach in place at the moment and a bid of around £25m could tempt them into selling one of their own academy talents.

Man United are also said to be interested in players like Jack Grealish, Erling Haaland, Jadon Sancho, Harry Kane and Raphael Varane (Daily Express).
