Report: Man United plotting £90 million bid for Spurs star this summer

The Sun have reported that Manchester United are now plotting a £90m bid for Harry Kane ahead of the summer transfer window.

It is said that the Glazers are ready to make such a big-money move in order to appease fans after their controversial decision to join the European Super League.

Protests from the Red Devils’ supporters at the weekend spilt onto the Old Trafford pitch and resulted in the match against bitter rivals Liverpool being postponed.

The Sun claim that the Glazers have little interest in selling Man United, but may seek a move to win the fans back over – namely with a shiny new striker.

Kane has been in sensational form this season, despite Tottenham’s woes, currently leading the Premier League goalscoring and assist charts with 21 and 13 respectively.

The Sun also add that Harry Kane would be interested in a move over to Old Trafford at the end of this season.
